Rooms and Suites
Six opulent and luxurious suites offer guests the ultimate in privacy and space. A private wooden private deck leads into the room with a small sitting area, a large and comfortable four poster bed, and en-suite bathroom facilities, including hand basins, a full-length mirror, a flushing toilet, a shower and a stunning free-standing bath with a view.
The four poster beds can be rolled out onto the private viewing deck for a night under the stars. No private plunge pools are available in the suites, although, a stunning swimming pool is found near the main lodge. All suites are connected to the central guest area via raised wooden walkways.
The Sanctuary Baines' Camp experience would not be complete without an opulent star bath. Your private deck overlooking the Okavango waterways is the perfect spot to take an indulgent soak under the stars. Hippos often frequent the river, so keep your eyes peeled for these amazing creatures as you relax in your tub.

Getting to Baine's Camp!
Sanctuary Baines' Camp has its own private airstrip located approximately 45 - 60 minutes by safari vehicle from the Camp, depending on water levels. Sanctuary Baines' is accessible by air from Maun (10 minutes), Kasane (90 minutes), Chief's Island and Chief's Camp (15 minutes). Please note the luggage restriction for all flights is 20kg per person in a soft-sided bag.
Lodge Facilities
The central guest area is raised off the ground and nestled under and between large trees. A place that offers up views of the Boro River and Okavango Delta with all her wildlife on show.

Sanctuary Baines' Camp offers guests both land and water based safaris in a private concession; game drives and night drives offer the chance to get up close to the surrounding wildlife, Mokoro trips showcase the Okavango from a different vantage point, motorised boats are perfect for sundowners, and finally, walking safaris are ideal for learning all about the smaller aspects of the African bushveld, insects, birds, trees and of course animal tracks.
For birders, an impressive list of bird species can be spotted in and around the camp.

Family Friendly
Sanctuary Baines' Camp welcomes families with children six years and older. Friendly guides will be able to provide additional children's activities. Teaching them the art of poling a mokoro, which is a local dug-out canoe frequently utilised in the Delta, is among them. Learn how to create a rope from natural materials. Short nature strolls around Camp, they learn about all the creatures, great and small.
Children under 15 years are required to share with an adult. The Camp is able to accommodate one triple per night (three people in one suite). Private vehicles can be booked; this is highly recommended for families with younger children. Housekeepers are able to babysit children while parents are on an activity or a romantic dinner.
