A Classic Safari Camp Surrounded By The Legendary Wildlife of Botswana's Savuti Region

A safari at Camp Savuti is to experience the legendary wildlife and birdlife of the Botswana Savuti region. Get up close and personal with Africa's top predators, witness large herds of elephants, zebra and wildebeest and experience this all from an open-air 4x4.

A truly authentic safari camp awaits with tented accommodation, great wildlife, and professional guides all wrapped up in one of Africa's famed safari destinations; the Savuti.

Rooms and Suites

Only five individual stunning and private Meru-styled tented suites are available at Camp Savuti, all on elevated wooden platforms with magnificent views overlooking the channel and surrounding bushveld.

Each of the five suites in camp offers guests a private outdoor veranda, complete with two chairs, an excellent spot for viewing wildlife and good old relaxing. Inside the tents, one has a choice of king-sized or twin beds, each with headboards and pure cotton linen; there is also shelving space, a safe and a writing table.

The en-suite bathrooms are separated from the main bedroom by a dividing canvas curtain that can be fastened back or pulled closed for privacy. There are flush toilets, an indoor bath and an outdoor shower.

Cuisine and Wine

Meals are served either in the outdoor boma area with a sunken firepit for ambience or indoors in the main dining area, depending, of course, on what the weather is doing.

Safari activities at Camp Savuti are focused purely on the wildlife and birdlife of the Savute Channel and include the following;

Family Friendly

Children and families are most welcome but bear in mind that there are no direct activities (example; play area, tv lounge etc.) in camp for the kids to participate in.

We would suggest children over ten years for safaris to the Savuti.
