Overnight lodging is within roomy dome tents, geared towards individuals seeking to get close to nature and Africa's magnificent wildlife; camping offers an extraordinary wilderness experience.

All in all, these safaris are for those who like to and want to help. Note: Cooking, cleaning and other camp tasks are the responsibility of the safari team that accompanies you for the duration of the mobile safari. A hot water bucket shower and a separate toilet are part and parcel of the experience.

Most of the campsites in the national parks and reserves are wild and unfenced; this creates an atmosphere of being completely and utterly one with nature. Having done this type of wild camping ourselves over numerous years, we can confidently say there is nothing quite like it. Maximum group size is kept to between 10 - 16 individuals.

The best aspect (for us anyway) of a mobile camping safari is sitting around the campfire at night while listening to stories and lions in the distance. Game drives, mokoro trips (a traditional canoe) and walking safaris are all available when to comes down to viewing the abundant wildlife on offer.
