Our map that features all the main attraction in Ethiopia that one should visit, from Axum and the Danakil Depression in the North to the Omo valley in the south. As a country, Ethiopia is more of a scenic destination than a wildlife one, but the scenery is out of this world as is the history and religious site. A real favourite destination here at Uyaphi.com, we do love the country.

At the moment, Ethiopia does struggle in offering international standard hotels and lodges throughout the country; most currently are 2 to 3-star properties (there are exceptions, of course).

So awe-inspiring are the adjectives that you would have expected him to live in a magnificent palace made of the finest Carrara marble or a granite stone castle in the tradition of Gondar.
