Leopard Beach Resort And Spa On Diani Beach: A Paradise For Divers And Beach Lovers Alike
Situated on Diani Beach, 34 km south of Kenya's bustling port of Mombasa, Leopard Beach Resort enjoys a prime position on one of the world's most stunning beaches. Tropical gardens drop onto the white sandy shores of the Indian Ocean below, where waters are calm due to the coral barrier reef - a haven for divers.
Leopard Beach Resort offers a wide range of high-quality accommodations, a choice of dining and entertainment venues - including the award-winning 'Chui Grill' - as well as extensive sporting and leisure facilities ranging from diving to golf.
The resort's PADI 5-star Dive Centre provides a comprehensive range of courses and equipment for underwater exploration. Glass bottom boats take visitors to the nearby coral reef, while an adventure centre and deep sea fishing provide more land-based activities. All the while, guests can enjoy kayaking along miles of pristine coastline, exploring Fort Jesus or discovering the ancient Gedi Ruins. Alternatively, take a day trip to Shimba Hills National Reserve - one of the last remaining areas of coastal rainforest in Kenya.
Leopard Beach Resort and Spa is more than just a place to sleep and relax; it's an experience that will stay with you forevermore. Whether you're looking for ultimate luxury or a family-friendly getaway, the 158 rooms are superbly appointed and offer a range of amenities. From Diani Beach chalets to suites with private plunge pools, guests can choose the style and ambience that suits them best.
Rooms and Suites
Dotted throughout the vast 25 acres of magnificent tropical gardens are 158 comfortable and welcoming rooms, radiating tasteful colour schemes which range from fresh citrus-lemon and sky-blue through romantic ruby and jade to soft terracotta and rattan.
Every room at Leopard Beach Resort is excellently furnished and includes a bath, shower and bidet, air conditioning, multi-channel satellite television, telephone, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, mosquito nets and a well-stocked mini-bar.
Cuisine and Wine
At Leopard Beach Resort and Spa, your gastronomic safari begins - a choice of settings and flavours to entice the most demanding palate.
Three table-d'hôte venues are rotated throughout the week: a buffet or set menu in the Horizon Restaurant and Terrace, dine al fresco on the Coco Beach BBQ or enjoy an African cultural night with traditional dishes on the 'Nyama Choma' terrace overlooking the Indian Ocean.
The la carte options are just as varied. Our award-winning Chaines des Rotisseurs speciality restaurant, the 'Chui Grill', offers fresh seafood and grills in a teak-timbered deck overlooking the lily ponds - fine dining at its finest and perfect for that romantic meal. For lunch, sample our stir-fries at Coco Mchana on Coco Beach or try our Italian speciality restaurant - Pizza 'n' Pasta Tornati.

Located in the southern suburbs of Nairobi is an English manor house. When it was built, the country was unclaimed bush rampant with African wildlife. The home of Karen Blixen is nearby who posthumously lends her name to this suburb, Karen.Hells Gate Kenya
I had visions of being trampled by buffalo, stalked by lions, or, given the extreme humidity and daytime temperatures, falling prey to one of the thousands of vultures who call Hell's Gate National Park their home. But our guide assured me that it would be fun.
