Day 1: Karisia Hills
- On arriving at Kisima (Maralal) airstrip, we are transferred to our camp that is positioned on the edge of the forest.
- Our camp for the night is set up on a grassy glade overlooking a huge rock outcrop and the surrounding bushveld.
- After settling in we spend the rest of the morning relaxing and preparing for the next 6 days.
- Lunch and a short siesta in camp is followed by an introductory stroll where we explore the area surrounding the camp.
- We return to camp before the sunsets for sundowners and an evening under the stars.

Day 2: Karisia Hills
- An early wake up sees us have breakfast in camp before heading out for the true start of our safari.
- This morning we walk from last nights camp into the surrounding forest with ancient, old-growth Podocarpus and Strangler Figs trees, if lucky, we have the chance to spot Buffalo and Elephant.
- Today's walk is excellent for birders, we have the chance to spot Hartlaub’s Turaco, Silvery-Cheeked Hornbill and possibly even a Crowned Eagle.
- Along the route, we learn about medicinal uses of the plants and trees by our Samburu trackers.
- Picnic lunch on an ancient rock outcrop used for millennium as a lookout before taking another route down to a new camp called Rapa, at the foot of the hills.
- In the late afternoon, we wander around the area surrounding the camp before returning for sundowners and dinner.

Day 3: Karisia Hills
- This morning we wake up at sunrise and after breakfast, we head out along the edge of the forest before dropping down into the drier country to the east of the Karisia Hills.
- Todays walks sees the surrounding scenery and vegetation change dramatically, from lush forests to a drier environment.
- The camels accompany us for most of the day carrying refreshments and drinks and when the terrain allows, there is a chance to riding a camel.
- Tonight's camp is set up in the dry river bed or on the banks of the Suiyan Lugga (depending on whether it is flowing or not).
- Sundowners with cold beers and cool glasses of wine are the perfect end to any day in Africa.

Day 4: Suyan and Seya Lugga
- This morning we wake up with hot water basins, a light breakfast and a chorus of bird song.
- Departing camp we walk to the confluence of the Suiyan and Seya Luggas (Lugga means river).
- Today's walk is all about rock formations, sandy river beds as well as experiencing the local way of life.
- An excellent day comes to a close with sundowners and dinner.

Day 5: Nantodo
- An early start to the days sees us depart camp after sunrise and breakfast.
- Today we head for the Ewaso River that stretches out a long way below us.
- Lunch of the banks of the scenic Ewaso River before we cross the river and camp under the impressive rock outcrop called Nantodo.
- The afternoon is a relaxing one before our late afternoon meander around the area of our camp, birding is exceptional in this region.
- Meals: Full Board

Day 6: Nantodo
- We will spend a second night in this camp and the day is spent at our leisure.
- Numerous activities today include; walk up the Nantodo rock formation, relaxing strolls along the river banks or simply take in the spectacular views and varied birdlife.
- We also have the opportunity to take a dip in a shallow part of the river (a safe section, far away from crocodiles and hippos).
- A late afternoon walk to a spot for sundowners returning to camp for dinner.
- Meals: Full Board

Day 7: Ngai Suisui
- Today sees us walking out of the Ewaso River valley following a dry river bed dotted with salt licks.
- The ever-changing scenery now sees us walk through open plains, Gerenuk, Grants Gazelle and Grevy Zebra are common sightings today.
- The long day ends with us arriving at our camp that is set up on a ridgeline with stunning views out over the wild northern country of Kenya.
- Our day ends with sundowners and incredible views before night falls and dinner.

Day 8: Karisia Hills Walking Safari Ends
- Our safari ends today with a walk to the closest airstrip, Kimancho for our connection back to Nairobi.
- Road transfers are also available for those more on a budget.
