Safari Itinerary
The ultimate game viewing and beach getaway safari that combines the best of Zambia (Luangwa) and Malawi, perfectly luxurious bush and beach safari holiday without vast travelling distances. A must for those seeking a safari and relaxing holiday.
Day 1: South Luangwa
- Meet at 08:30 in the morning, a free collection service is offered to clients in Lilongwe
- Depart Lilongwe at 09:00, continue to Mchinji, 1 and 1/2 hr drive
- Here we complete immigration formalities and continue to Mwami - the Zambian border, from the border it is a short drive to Chipata - Zambia's capital of the Eastern Province
- Proceed on a dirt road to Luangwa Valley - Mfuwe sector
- A picnic lunch is enjoyed en route and ETA at the Lodge is 2.30pm
- On arrival, we check into our chalets followed by tea and coffee
- A gentle walk along the river is offered for those that wish

Days 2-3: South Luangwa
- After a light snack with tea & coffee, we depart for a morning drive at 06:00
- All game drives are undertaken in open game viewing vehicles, to optimise your pleasure and experience
- Drinks and snacks are taken along for your enjoyment whilst in the park
- Depending on game sightings, we return to the lodge at 11 for a scrumptious "brunch"
- An afternoon rest, swim, and tea then we again head out for our afternoon/ night drive at around 16H00 - returning to the lodge at 20:00

Day 4: Lake Malawi
- This morning you have a more relaxing start to the day, breakfast then pack up and return back to Lilongwe
- A picnic lunch is eaten en route
- From Lilongwe, we continue to for 1.1/2 hrs to Lake Malawi and Senga Bay
- Arrive at the Safari Beach Lodge in time for sundowners
- Overnight tented camp
- Dinner Bed and Breakfast
- Safari Beach Lodge
Day 5: Lake Malawi
- Relaxing at Lake Malawi
- Non-motorized water sports included
- Dinner Bed and Breakfast
- Safari Beach Lodge
Day 6: Safari ends
- After breakfast, we transfer you to Lilongwe in time for your return flight or onward journey
