A Safari Lodge With Just 14 Chalets On Offer, Mushara Is Located Within Minutes Of The Etosha National Park
Mushara Lodge is a 14-chalet lodge located 8kms from the Von Lindequist Gate on the eastern outskirts of the Etosha National Park.
Close attention has been paid to the décor, which is an eclectic blend of traditional African and modern artworks combined with original paintings.
The thatched public area consists of a small library with a selection of good books, a bar with an extensive wine cellar, an airy lounge with a welcoming fireplace for winter evenings, a dining area and a well-stocked curio shop.
The prominent feature is its large bright blue swimming pool area, surrounded by green lawns which are kept perfectly manicured by visiting local wildlife.
The lodge offers "optional" professionally guided game drives into Etosha, which are a great way to see some of the amazing wildlife of the national park and Etosha pan. The lodge is also close to the Von Lindequist entrance gate, making it easy to get into the park for those on a self-drive option.
Rooms And Suites
All of the safari chalets at Mushara Lodge offer guests a comfortable and relaxing stay.
The spacious and well-appointed accommodations are perfect for those looking to get away from it all and experience all the Etosha region has to offer.
The lodge consists of ten spacious chalets, one family unit, a triple room and two single rooms (14 safari chalets in total).
Each room features air conditioning, a mosquito nets, a mini bar fridge, a safe, tea and coffee-making facilities, electric lights, a direct-dial telephone, a wardrobe, and a luggage rack.
The en-suite bathrooms include a separate toilet and come with either just a shower or a bath and shower.
Cuisine And Wine
Mushara Lodge offers an excellent selection of cuisine and wine options for guests.
The indoor dining area is perfect for a romantic dinner, while the outdoor dining area is perfect for a relaxing lunch or breakfast or even dinner under the Namibian stars.

Once one navigates the main Sesriem entrance gates and enters the national park a pleasant surprise awaits, a tarred road (yes, a tarred road) that extends all the way through to the main parking area near Sossusvlei.
