.Day 1: Windhoek
- You will be met by your guide on arrival at Hosea Kutako (Windhoek International) airport.
- After checking into your overnight accommodation a city tour is on the cards.
- Windhoek attractions include; The Ride Memorial, the Old Fort, the Parliament Buildings, the Lutheran Church and the Railway Station.
- Windhoek offers numerous restaurant options for dinner.

Day 2: Kalahari Desert
- Departing Windhoek after breakfast we head in a southerly direction with the Kalahari Desert being our destination for the night.
- Near the town of Rehoboth, we head into the red Kalahari dunes.
- In the late afternoon, we participate in a guided game drive to learn about the flora and fauna of the Kalahari Desert.
- Meals: Breakfast and dinner
- Accommodation: Bagatelle Kalahari Game Lodge
Days 3-4: Fish River Canyon
- Leaving the Kalahari behind us, we head for Fish River Canyon.
- We stop off and visit the picturesque Quiver Tree Forest near Keetmanshoop.
- We also visit 'Giant's Playground' which is an impressive jumble of massive boulders, great for photography.
- We arrive and check in at our home for the next two night, Canon Lodge.
- Short nature walks area n option in the late afternoon.
- Day 4 is when we get to view and take in the World's second largest canyon, the afternoon is for leisure and relaxation back at the lodge.

Days 5-6: Lüderitz
- Today we head for the small coastal town of Lüderitz passing the town of Aus on the way.
- There is a chance to seeing the wild horse of the Namib after passing Aus.
- Lüderitz offers old-world charm with distinctly German colonial architecture.
- Day 6, we visit the ghost town of Kolmanskop in the morning.
- An afternoon sightseeing tour of Lüderitz followed by an excursion to the Diaz cross where the daring Portuguese sailors erected a stone pillar in 1480.

Day 7: Southern Namib
- Breakfast and we retrace our route back to the town of Aus.
- From Aus, we turn left and into the remote southern region of the Namib Desert.
- Today we experience what the life of a farmer in the south Namib is like
- Meals: Breakfast and dinner
- Accommodation: Farm Namtib
Days 8-9: Central Namib
- Today we head for the famous Sesriem and Sossusvlei region of the Namib Desert.
- The road is truly spectacular with yellow savannah dotted with bushes and solitary camelthorn trees with distant mountain ranges on the horizon.
- Day 9, we visit Sossusvlei, Deadvlei and Sesriem Canyon.
- Meals: Breakfasts and dinners
- Accommodation: Desert Homestead
Days 10-11: Swakopmund
- After breakfast, it is off to Swakopmund with visits to 'Moon Landscape" and the ancient desert plant, "Welwitschia Mirabilis" along the way.
- The afternoon is at your leisure to explore on foot all that is Swakopmund.
- Day 11, a morning trip to Walvis Bay and a morning dolphin cruise in on the cards.
- The afternoon again is at your leisure, relax or partake in a few of the numerous adventure activities on offer in and around the town.

Days 12-13: Damaraland
- Departing Swakopmund we head north along the Atlantic Ocean coastline.
- We visit the lichen fields near Wlotzka's Baken before passing Henties Bay and onto the seal colony at Cape Cross.
- We enter the Skeleton Coast Park for a quick walk around a shipwreck.
- Damaraland is next with impressive landscapes and rugged valleys.
- Day 13, our main goal here is to track the elusive desert rhinos of the region on game drives.
- Meals: Breakfasts and dinners
- Accommodation: Grootberg Lodge
Day 14: Etosha National Park
- We head off in the direction of the Etosha National Park via the Grootberg Pass to Kamanjab.
- Arriving in the afternoon at our home for the night; Okaukuejo Rest Camp.
- A short afternoon game drive is on the cards.
- Meals: Breakfasts and dinners
- Accommodation: Okaukuejo Rest Camp
Days 15-16: Etosha National Park
- Today we drive across the Etosha National Park from west to east to our home for the next two nights, the Mushara Private Game Reserve,
- This is, in fact, a full day game drive with Mushara Bush Camp being our destination in the late afternoon.
- Day 16, is all about game drives again within Etosha.
- Meals: Breakfasts and dinners
- Accommodation: Mushara Bush Camp
Day 17: Africat Foundation
- Leaving Etosha behind us we today head for the famed Africat Foundation near the town of Otjiwarongo.
- The Africat Foundation is a non-profit organisation dedicated to the conservation and protection of Namibian wild cats, in particular, leopard and cheetah.
- A great opportunity to get stunning close-up photographs of both leopard and cheetahs.
- Meals: Full board
- Accommodation: Okonjima Main Camp
Day 18: Experience Namibia Safari Ends
- Departing the famed Africat Foundation for Windhoek and the end of our safari.
- We do however stop off at woodcarvers market in the town of Okahandja.
- We say our fond farewells.
- Meals: Breakfast

The Road To Sossusvlei
Once one navigates the main Sesriem entrance gates and enters the national park a pleasant surprise awaits, a tarred road (yes, a tarred road) that extends all the way through to the main parking area near Sossusvlei.
Cape Town To The Kunene River
In November and December of last year (2019), we loaded our Jeep and headed north out of Cape Town, destination Namibia and the Kunene River, her border with Angola.
A couple of thousand kilometres later, we returned, this time, more in love with country than ever.
Windhoek Oktoberfest 2021
On the 25th and 26th of October, the Sports Klub Windhoek will host the 55th edition of the Oktoberfest. Over 5000 people are expected to attend (compared to 1000 in 2010).
Adding a certain local flavour will be the Namibian band Famaz Attak, and there will be long-established activities and games like archery and tree trunk sawing.
