Schulphoek Guest House situated on the beautiful Schulphoek Bay, Western Cape a protected sanctuary, with spectacular sea views (a favourite spot for the Southern Right Whale).
Whales can be seen from June through to early December from the luxury of Schulphoek Guest House. Minutes away from Hermanus town centre and within one hour of Cape Town International Airport.
Come and relax in the stylish atmosphere where an eclectic mixture of old and new finds Africa merging with the sea. Watching whales and dolphins in the bay from the lounge area seem that much more of an intimate experience.

Cape Town Kite Festival
The 19th annual Cape Town Kite Festival was held at the beginning of November in Muizenberg, bringing together over 20,000 people for a two-day event.
The festival featured stunt kiting exhibitions, Japanese-inspired Rokkaku kite battles, and a Heritage Kite Competition that encouraged children to build South African swallow or bat-style kites from scratch.
In addition to the fun activities on offer, the festival also supports Cape Mental Health charity and provides an opportunity for local businesses and visitors alike to experience the beauty of Cape Town and Muizenberg.
