Aaaaahhhh, the beautiful and peaceful hamlet of Tulbagh with those mountains that surround and fruit farms everywhere. A genuinely stunning destination that as of yet has not been run over by tourists, yes a working town with exceptional beauty awaits all that visit.
The funny thing is that we found it impossible to drive 1 kilometre without having to stop for a photo break. Everywhere you go there are just photographic moments popping their heads out and begging to be captured.
We can easily recommend Tulbagh for 2 or 3 nights. This is after all what the Cape Winelands is all about, scenic, friendly people, great wine, fantastic restaurants, lots of activities and luxurious accommodation.
