The Steenberg Hotel is without question not only one of the finest hotels in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town but Cape Town as a whole as well as South Africa.
On arrival one is struck by the hotels rural setting, yes a working wine estate that was established in 1682 - 334 years ago.
The hotel is surrounded by vineyards, two of the areas finest restaurants, one of Cape Towns best golf courses and views out over False Bay all within one setting.
Luxury surrounds one pretty much everywhere and most importantly the staff are simply amazing.
The rooms are everything and more that one would expect from a hotel of this calibre. In our humble opinion the "Standard" and "Superior Rooms" offer more than enough space and luxury, but if that is not enough for you then have a gander at the "Khoi Khoi Suite" with 163m² of living space (2 bedrooms, kitchen, lounge and private swimming pool).
What the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town offer, a rural atmosphere, numerous wine estates and easy access to all of Cape Towns attractions. We at Uyaphi live around the corner yet we still cannot for the life of us understand why more people do not stay this side of Cape Town, the area quite frankly is stunning.
