Days 1-4: Cape Town

  • On arrival at Cape Town International Airport, make your way to the rental collections kiosk.
  • Once formalities have been completed, make your way into the heart of Cape Town.
  • 4x nights at the Cape Cadogan Boutique Hotel – standard room (bed & breakfast basis, inclusive of free Wi-Fi, and complimentary scheduled transfer to and from the V&A Waterfront)

Days 5-8: Madikwe Game Reserve

  • Domestic flight from Cape Town to Johannesburg (not included).
  • Collect rental car and proceed to the Madikwe Game Reserve (drive time approx. 4 hours).
  • Madikwe Safari Lodge is ideally situated in the malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve.
  • Some of the game you could see include the Big Five (Lion, Rhino, Elephant, Leopard and Buffalo), other wildlife include Cheetah, Oryx, Wild Dog and Impala.

  • After your morning game drive and brunch check out and continue to the Waterberg (drive time approx. 4 hours 30 minutes – 5 hours).
  • The drive today is a mixture of tar and dirt roads passing through small towns and rural South Africa.
  • Marataba Safari Lodge offers up 15 canvas-and-stone tented suites that are exquisitely furnished and decorated with a contemporary twist.
  • Marataba Safari Lodge enjoys a 23000-hectare private concession within the Marakele National Park in the Waterberg region.
