Day 1: Moshi region, Kilimanjaro
- From the Kilimanjaro International Airport a transfer to our hotel.
- The Aishi Machame Hotel offers up clean and cosy rooms, en-suite bathrooms, a swimming pool, WiFi access as well as a restaurant and bar.

Day 2: Nalemuru Gate to Simba Camp
- After breakfast, we meet with our guide and support team at the hotel to go over logistics.
- We then travel by vehicle to the northern entrance of Kilimanjaro National Park and enter via the Nalemuru Gate (2,020 m).
- After the brief paperwork of obtaining climbing permits and registering with the search and rescue service, we set out for Simba Camp (2,625 m), which is about a three-hour walk.
- Our trek today is through a coniferous forest on the northern slope of Kilimanjaro to reach this day's objective.
- When we get to the camp, our experienced mountain crew will ready everything, including setting up tents and preparing dinner.
- Change in Elevation: Nalemuru Gate (2,020 m) -> Simba Camp (2,625 m)

Day 3: Simba Camp to Kikilewa Camp
- Departing Simba Camp in the early morning we begin to trek to our second high-altitude camp, Kikilewa Camp (3,630 m).
- Today's trekking will be more physically taxing than yesterday's, so full recuperative rest is advised after you arrive at the camp.
- Change in Elevation: Simba Camp (2,625 m) -> Kikilewa Camp (3,630 m)
- Hiking distance: 10 km
- Hiking time: 5-6 hours
- Accommodation: Kikilewa Camp
Day 4: Kikilewa Camp to Mawenzi Tarn Camp
- Starting the trek to Mawenzi Tarn Camp at the foot of Mawenzi Volcano, which is the second-highest peak on Kilimanjaro.
- The climb up to Uhuru Peak from Mweka Gate will take roughly 6 hours.
- After lunch and a two-hour rest, we'll go on an acclimatization excursion to Mawenzi Volcano with a 200-meter gain in altitude before returning down to Mawenzi Tarn Camp for dinner.
- Note: The acclimatization walk is a simple trip with a modest ascent in elevation that helps to speed up the acclimatization process. You should take your acclimatization hikes seriously.
- Change in Elevation: Kikilewa Camp (3,630 m) -> Mawenzi Tarn Camp (4,310 m)
- Hiking distance: 6 km
- Hiking time: 4-5 hours

Day 5: Mawenzi Tarn Camp to School Hut Camp
- Today we trek towards School Hut Camp (4,715 m).
- The environment will undergo a dramatic transformation to become a rocky semidesert.
- The walking is not particularly tough; simply keep in mind to maintain a healthy speed on your trip to the top of Kilimanjaro.
- We urge you to get plenty of rest, avoid pushing yourself, and drink as much as you can the night before you climb Uhuru Peak (5,895 m), because the next day will be a strenuous one.
- Change in Elevation: Mawenzi Tarn Camp (4,310 m) -> School Hut Camp (4,715 m)

Day 6: School Hut Camp to Uhuru Peak to Morombo Camp
- A very early departure from School Hut Camp (4,715 m) sees us start our ascent to Kilimanjaro's summit and the famed Uhuru peak (5,895 m).
- From a physical standpoint, the trek is fairly easy, but the altitude poses a considerably greater challenge.
- Each pair of climbers will be accompanied by their own guide for the entire length of the trek.
- After we have reached Uhuru Peak, we travel to the nearest glacier.
- After that, you'll return to Kibo Camp for a two-hour rest before continuing your journey to Horombo Camp (3,720 meters).
- Change in Elevation: School Hut Camp (4,715 m) -> Uhuru Peak (5,895m) -> Morombo Camp (3,720 m)
- Hiking distance: 21 km
- Hiking time: 12-14 hours
- Accommodation: Morombo Camp
Day 7: Morombo Camp to Marangu Gate
- We'll start the day with a hot breakfast, then hike down to the Kilimanjaro National Park's exit and Marangu Gate (1,860 m).
- The descent will end with a group gathering to congratulate you and then have the opportunity to express your thoughts on the journey in the guestbook.
- Finally, commemorative certificates and a transfer back to the hotel.
- Change in Elevation: Horombo Camp (3,720 m) -> Marangu Gate (1,860 m)
- Hiking distance: 18 km
- Hiking time: 5-6 hours

Day 8: The Machame Route Safari Ends
- Rest at the hotel, then board one's transfer to Kilimanjaro airport.
- If dayrooms are required, they can be arranged and paid for directly at the hotel.
