Queen Elizabeth National Park Photos
Other than gorilla trekking, Queen Elizabeth National Park is one of the most visited safari destination in the country and for good reason; tree climbing lions, vast savannahs teaming with wildlife, boat trips on Kazinga channel and awe-inspiring views out over Lake Edward.
The national park is even better for birders with around 600 species being recorded, so for those interested in birding safaris, make sure that this region of Uganda is on your itinerary.
As usual with wildlife parks a good selection of lenses is required to photograph those sneaky beasties off in the distance, we would recommend at least a 150mm, but anything bigger than a 300mm would be ideal.
