Winner of the Leading Safari Lodge in Uganda award at the prestigious World Travel Awards for seven consecutive years, Nkuringo Bwindi serves as an exceptional base for trekking mountain gorillas in Uganda and embarking on adventures in the southwestern region.
The lodge boasts eleven private garden cottages, two family-style villas, and four luxurious forest suites. Rooms And Suites
Each cottage/suite features a delightful outside balcony, is powered by solar energy with a gas water heater, and offers a range of single, twin, or double beds.
The Deluxe "Garden Cottages" (measuring 45 square meters) are individually designed, can be transformed into triple rooms, and boast a spacious wooden veranda (measuring 10-15 sqm). They provide captivating views of either the Virungas or Bwindi Forest.
The cosy "Standard Garden Cottages" (38 square meters) are the latest addition to the Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge collection. Nestled within the original garden and surrounded by rare trees and flowers, they serve as a testament to our humble beginnings. From the verandas, guests can relish in the enchanting sounds of some of the rarest birds on the continent.
The "Forest Suites" span approximately 90 square meters and offer breathtaking panoramic vistas of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest through their expansive windows. Each suite showcases beautifully inspired interiors, incorporating local materials in a simple and contemporary manner. With generously sized beds, spacious bathrooms, private lounges, and panoramic verandas, these suites exude an elegant and distinctive ambience.
The "Villas", or 2-in-1 cottages, command exceptional views of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and serve as the perfect option for families (featuring an interconnecting door) or friends travelling together. In fact, they are two separate private cottages, with each room accommodating up to 3 people.
