Gorilla tracking is the main attraction at Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp. The camp offers the opportunity to track the habituated gorilla family groups in northern Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Accompanied by experienced guides, visitors can engage in year-round tracking activities starting at 08:30 am. Permits and treks are purchased separately.
Another captivating experience is the Batwa Tribe Encounter. This full-day activity involves a three-hour walk followed by an hour spent with the Batwa people. The return walk to camp takes approximately two hours. Nature lovers can also embark on a guided forest canopy walk along the Munyaga waterfall trail. This trail begins at the park office and leads to the magnificent Munyaga waterfall. The round trip to the waterfall takes approximately three hours, offering an opportunity to unwind or prepare for gorilla tracking.
