Activities
Murchison Falls National Park, the largest in Uganda, boasts an abundance of wildlife. This particular section of the park, largely secluded from human activity, has allowed the wildlife to flourish undisturbed. Encounter a variety of wildlife, including the elusive Ugandan cob, Rothschild giraffe, cape buffalo, and majestic African elephants as you journey through the wilderness.
Embark on a unique safari experience! Morning game drives start at 7 am, with breakfast available from 6.30 am and return around 10 am. Evening game drives commence at 4 pm.
The River Nile is home to various fish species, including tilapia, Nile perch, yellow fish and catfish. Some Nile perch caught here have weighed over 70 kgs. Fishing from the riverbank or a boat near the falls is an exciting experience for both experienced anglers and beginners.
Murchison Falls is the main attraction of the national park, and there are various ways to reach and observe the falls. Please note that for these activities, driving to Paraa Safari Lodge is necessary. The drive from Chobe Safari Lodge to Paraa Safari Lodge takes around 3 ½ hours.

A Special Gorilla Family
This year marks the twentieth anniversary of a very special family, the Mubare family group in the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the south western corner of Uganda.
They are, of course, gorillas. Why are they so special?
