Cuisine And Wine
Murchison River Lodge takes pride in sourcing most of their fresh produce locally, including fish. Their meats are supplied by a reputable butchery in Jinja, while the remaining ingredients are brought in from either Masindi or Kampala. The skilled kitchen team prepares delightful homemade meals daily and can easily accommodate alternative dietary requirements with prior notice.
During your safari, the days can be long, and there can be significant gaps between meals. To enhance your experience, they offer a complimentary afternoon tea from 4-6 pm, complete with fresh coffee and homemade cake.
At Murchison River Lodge, the main bar is fully stocked with an impressive selection of wines, beers, spirits, sodas, and juices. They aim to provide a wide range of options to cater to your preferences and ensure a memorable experience.

The swimming pool at Murchison River Lodge is thoughtfully nestled among trees, offering a stunning view of the River Nile. A curved terrace below the entrance is equipped with pool towels, sun loungers, and a built-in sofa, creating a tranquil space for relaxation.
