The Camp is situated in a private concession on a large open floodplain surrounded by teak forest typical of Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe, making it easy to spot wildlife from your room while out walking or on game drives with professional guides.

Rooms and Suites

Verney's Camp, home to eight double and twin safari tent options and two family tents (ten in total), is situated under the shady arms of teak trees that border an open watering hole (one of the few water sources in the area) in front and the Hwange bushveld behind.

Suites can be configured either with king-size or with twin beds depending on your needs and wants.

All tents have been carefully positioned so guests can enjoy the ultimate in privacy!

All tented suites come with en-suite bathrooms complete with flush toilets, showers (hot and cold), and double vanities.

Cuisine and Wine

You will be able to enjoy three meals a day in the numerous dining areas or outside under the African sky or stars when at camp.

All meals are carefully prepared to please every palate. The international dishes served at Camp all have an African twist.

Facilities

With its eco-friendly design, the central guest area comes together to give you a comfortable stay, all with fantastic views out over Verney's Pan.

The camp's tented main guest area features an indoor lounge and library area and a tented outdoor dining area.

A large swimming pool is available for those steamy summer days!

WiFi is available in and around the central guest area, although one must remember the internet in the middle of the Hwange bushveld is not that fast.

The safari activities from Verney's are some of the best in the area. Guests can enjoy morning, afternoon or all-day game drives with a picnic lunch, walking safaris, or game viewing from the comfort of their own tents or central guest area.

The Hwange National Park is home to a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, leopards, and rhinos. The Hwange is also home to a variety of bird species, including eagles, vultures, and storks.
