Bumi Hills Safari Lodge is in the perfect location for sunrises, sunsets and sighting wildlife at the lake edge. There are very few lodges in Southern Africa that sit in such a prime position; the views are amazing, utterly amazing.

The lodge offers up game drives, walking safaris, boating, fishing, village visits and sunset cruises. Each of the activities offers up the chance to spot a wide variety of wildlife, including; elephant, buffalo, kudu, and impala abound, while lions can be heard on the hunt. Part and parcel of the amazing African Bush Camps portfolio.

Nearly 400 bird species have already been documented in this region of Zimbabwe.

In our opinion, a few nights stay at Bumi Hills is a must for anyone visiting Zimbabwe. Most definitely one of the most scenic Lake Kariba Lodges on offer.

Rooms and Suites

All of the luxurious suites are positioned in such a way that ensures privacy and absolutely amazing views of Lake Kariba.

Each suite at Bumi Hills Safari Lodge has its own private viewing deck, perfect for watching the wildlife roam around the shores of Kariba below. The en-suite bathroom amenities include a hairdryer and come stocked with toiletries.

Mini bars are perfect for keeping any drinks or snacks chilled; there is also a safe in each room for keeping valuable items secure, as well as air conditioning. Additionally, each suite has a battery charging point, which is perfect for guests who want to stay connected while visiting Lake Kariba.

The Baobab Villa is more suitable for families or those that want that little bit more privacy.

This private villa comes with all the amenities you need, including two bedrooms, a living room bar, indoor and outdoor dining decks, and even your own private butler, guide, and dedicated vehicle.
