Little Ruckomechi Camp, set on the banks of the iconic Zambezi River and surrounded by high concentrations of wildlife and birdlife, is the perfect safari option for offers seeking the ultimate in luxury and privacy when visiting Mana Pools.
Located within the private Ruckomechi concession ensures another level of privacy and exclusivity when out on a safari activity. A smaller, more private version of its sister camp, Ruckomechi Camp.
Wildlife sighting in the Mana Pools National Park (A UNESCO World Heritage Site) includes; large herds of elephant and buffalo, lion, leopard, cheetah and wild dog, as well as hippo, kudu, Burchell's zebra, impala, warthog and common waterbuck, to mention only but a few.
Birdlife on the Zambezi River and surrounding acacia albida trees is nothing short of spectacular.
Note; Little Ruckomechi Camp operates between variable dates in April and mid-November.
Rooms and Suites
Three large and luxuriously appointed suites await, each with a private verandah, writing desk, comfortable beds, and en-suite bathroom facilities that include; a flushing toilet, hot and cold water, and showers.
All suites offer private views out over the Zambezi River.
The suite amenities at Little Ruckomechi Camp include electrical outlets, fans, laundry service (complimentary), mosquito nets, and safes.
Guests can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee while relaxing in their comfortable suite.
Cuisine and Wine
Whether it be breakfast, brunch, lunch, high tea or dinner, the cuisine on offer at Little Ruckomechi is superb and is up there with the best bush dining experience anywhere in Zimbabwe. The team in the kitchen are absolutely fantastic at what they do.

Facilities
The social hub of Little Ruckomechi is the small under-canvas central guest area, an area that offers up an indoor dining room and lounge with a small library, an adjacent undercover dining area and a small plunge pool.
All of these safari camp facilities look out of the Zambezi River and onto the Zamebi escarpment in Zambia.
An outdoor shaded dining area and outdoor fire pit at Little Ruckomechi are perfect for a few drinks out under the African stars.
Activities
The safari activities on offer at Little Ruckomechi Camp are sure to appeal to wildlife enthusiasts of all ages.
Early morning game drives in Land Rovers offer the opportunity to see the animals in their natural environment as they begin their day, while late afternoon game drives provide a different perspective as the animals start to return to their resting places.
