These mobile safaris differ from the classic Botswana camping safari in that the Meru styled tents are bigger, with free-standing beds, a covered verandah (of sorts) and all tented suites offer en-suite bathrooms with bucket showers (hot water and cold water) as well as toilets.

In a nutshell, classic Botswana camping and tented safari will use 3x3m dome tents and these tours use larger Meru styled tents with en-suite bathrooms.

A camp crew travels ahead of the game drive vehicles and sets up camp in advance of one's arrival. When one arrives at camp, your tent is set up, your luggage is waiting for you, and the team in the kitchen is already preparing delicious meals.

All you have to do is take your luggage into your tent, grab a beer or glass of wine, and enjoy the remote and wild private camps that Botswana has to offer. Your Botswana safari guides, camp staff and safari crew do all the camp chores.
