Day 1: Xaxaba/ Moremi
- After your arrival in Maun, you will be met by Helicopter Horizons for your charter flight to the Xaxaba airstrip.
- Upon arrival at Xaxaba, you will be met by your guide for a boat transfer to our camp on the river.
- Spending our first three nights camping along the banks of the Boro River in Moremi Game Reserve.
- We explore the surrounding wilderness and waterways by boat and by foot.
- The Xaxaba area of the Moremi offers up rivers and islands; there are no game drives here as a vehicle cannot get here.

Days 2-3: Xaxaba/ Moremi
- Moremi Game Reserve encompasses much of the central and eastern portions of the Okavango Delta.
- We will be exploring the south-western portion of this region along with one of the Okavango’s main waterways which runs all the way south to the Thamalakane River in Maun which goes on to become the Boteti River which runs down into Makgadikgadi Pans National Park.
- All of the large predators occur in this area, although they are mostly found a little distance away from the river.
- Elephants are often encountered either in or next to the river as are the ubiquitous hippopotamus.
- Large herds of buffalo move through the area and are often shadowed by lions.

Day 4: Xakanaxa / Moremi
- Following and early morning breakfast we pack our bags in the boat and bid farewell to our camp crew as we begin our journey back to Maun.
- Depending on the location of our camp, this journey will take between three to five hours along the winding waterways of the Okavango with a stop on an island for tea and coffee.
- You may also opt to take a helicopter flight back to Maun (minimum two pax - optional).
- You will return to Maun airport for your charter flight at approximately 14h00 to the Xakanaxa airstrip in Moremi Game Reserve where you will be met by your guide.
- Spending the next three nights camping in the Xakanaxa region, we explore the surrounding wilderness on game drives during the day.
- The Xakanaxa area of Moremi is all about game drives.

Days 5-6: Xakanaxa / Moremi
- The habitat in Moremi consists of floodplains, marshes, lagoons, woodland and savannah and as result wildlife and birdlife sighting are excellent.
- We spend these two days exploring all that is the Moremi by safari vehicle on morning and afternoon game drives.
- Moremi is amongst the best game reserves in Africa for viewing the endangered African wild dog.
- Xakanaxa is home to a resident herd of several hundred buffalo whose range covers the territories of at least four prides of lion.
- Breeding herds of elephants move between their browsing areas in the mopane forests and the freshwater of the Okavango.
- The Xaxaba area of the Moremi offers up rivers and islands; there are no game drives here as vehicles cannot get here.
- The Xakanaxa area of Moremi is all about game drives.

Day 7: Khwai Safari Area
- Following an early morning breakfast, you take a slow drive through Moremi Game Reserve north-east towards the Khwai community area.
- We spend our first of three nights wild camping in the Khwai region.
- We follow the Khwai River on a track weaving from the riverside and floodplains into the mopane veld and the woodlands.
- The Khwai region is without question one of the most scenic areas of the Okavango.
- Wildlife and birdlife here is spectacular.
- A late afternoon and early evening game drive is followed by dinner.

Days 8-9: Khwai Safari Area
- We spend the following two nights camping at an exclusive campsite in the community area, exploring the Khwai floodplains on game drives both during the day and at night.
- Exploring after dark with spotlights offers you an opportunity to experience some of the nocturnal animals that are rarely encountered during the day.
- We will also have the opportunity to explore the surrounding wilderness by mokoro and enjoy an up-close and personal encounter with Botswana’s flora and fauna.
- Returning each night to our campsite in the wilds for dinner asleep.

Day 10: Maun
- After breakfast, we take a game drive to the airstrip, where you will be met by your charter flight back to Maun.
