Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi
- On arrival at Nairobi International Airport, we are transferred to our hotel for the night, the lovely Eka Hotel.
- The afternoon is at leisure, relax in the hotel or explore Nairobi's attractions including; Nairobi National Park, Kitengela Hot Glass Excursion, Nairobi Shopping Spree, or the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Orphanage.
- Dinner tonight is for our own expense with numerous dining options close to the hotel.
- Meals: Bed and breakfast
- Accommodation: Eka Hotel
Day 2: Masai Mara
- After breakfast, we depart Nairobi for the world famous Masai Mara.
- We drive through fertile highlands before heading down into the Great Rift Valley on the road built by Italian prisoners of war during World War II.
- We arrive at Keekorok Lodge in time for lunch.
- A short afternoon siesta is followed by our first game drive in the Masai Mara.
- We return to the lodge as the sun sets for dinner.
- Meals: Full board

Day 3: Masai Mara
- A very early wake up for breakfast and our morning game.
- We return to Keekorok mid-morning for a siesta, lunch and optional activities.
- An afternoon game drive before returning to the lodge at sunset and dinner.
- Note: A hot air balloon safari option can be pre-booked for this morning (highly recommended).
- Meals: Full board

Day 4: Lake Naivasha
- After breakfast, we depart the Masai Mara for Lake Naivasha, our destinations for the night.
- We travel through what is regarded as Kenya's breadbasket where wheat and barley fields spread out as far as the eye can see.
- We arrive at Lake Naivasha Country Club in time for lunch.
- Lunch and a short siesta we head out on an afternoon boat ride on Lake Naivasha, with the rest of the afternoon at leisure.
- Meals: Full board

Day 5: Amboseli National Park
- We depart Lake Nakuru and head in the direction of the Amboseli National Park.
- Picnic lunch en route while surrounded by Kenya's magnificent scenery.
- Check into Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge before head out for an afternoon game drive with Mount Kilimanjaro as a back-drop.
- We return to the lodge at sunset followed by dinner.
- Meals: Full board
- Accommodation: Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge
Day 6: Tsavo West National Park
- Breakfast and an early departure, we swap the Amboseli National Park for the fantastic Tsavo West National Park.
- This morning we cross the spectacular Shetani lava flow nearby Chyulu Hills.
- We arrive at Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge, check-in and lunch followed by a short siesta before embarking on our afternoon game drive.
- On the game drive, we hopefully get to spot the rare gerenuk antelope.
- We return to Kilaguni at sunset for dinner and a good nights rest.
- Meals: Full board
- Accommodation: Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge
Day 7: Taita Hills Game Reserve
- Following breakfast, we partake in a morning game drive in the Tsavo with a visit to the fantastic Mzima Springs
- After lunch, we head in the direction of the Taita Hills Game Sanctuary and our accommodation for the night; Salt Lick Safari Lodge.
- The entire afternoon is at leisure, wildlife sightings from lodges hide are excellent.
- Meals: Full board
- Accommodation: Salt Lick Safari Lodge
Day 8: Kenyan Odyssey to the Mombasa Coast Safari Ends
- Breakfast, early morning game drive and lunch in Taita Hills before we head off for Kenya's amazing coastline with Mombassa being our destination.
- We reach Mombassa for the end of our safari in the late afternoon.
- Meals: Breakfast
