Days 4-5: Franschhoek
A short 1-hour drive from Cape Town to Franschhoek awaits.

Day 6: Swellendam
Leaving Franschhoek, a scenic three-hour drive awaits with mountain passes and small towns along the way.
Swellendam is South Africa's 4th oldest town offering loads of character, good restaurants and historical walks.

Days 7-8: Hermanus
Departing Swellendam, it is highly recommended that you travel due South to the very Southern tip of Africa.
From Agulhas to Hermanus is a relatively short drive, lots of photo opportunities abound on this section of road.
Hermanus is the world famous for her whale watching, in fact, rated the best land based whale watching in the world by TripAdvisor.

From Hermanus back to Cape Town is roughly three hours.
But please allow for plenty of time as this is one beautiful part of South Africa.
NOTE; The penguin colony at Betty's Bay is well worth the stop.
